New TechSmart^® Smart Solutions For Fall 2013

Standard Motor Products, Inc. announced its latest TechSmart^® line expansion for 2013. TechSmart^® has added 95 new premium parts covering more than 85 million VIO to its growing line of engine control products.

Introduced in a full-color Fall 2013 New Parts Guide and distributed as a tip-in insert in the show-issues of several nationally distributed automotive magazines.

Several exciting, new problem solving solutions are highlighted in this release including DISA Valve Repair Kits for BMW’s common DISA valve failure, Throttle Position Sensor Repair Kits for Honda, a Variable Intake Manifold Repair Kit for the high-failure Mercedes-Benz variable intake manifold, and a repair kit for the high-failure Ford 6.0L diesel Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) Actuator.

Keeping its commitment to provide technicians with ‘problem-solvers’ many of the new TechSmart^® repair kits provide solutions for components not serviced separately by the dealer and make available parts that were previously only available at the new car dealer.

The TechSmart^® line currently includes electronic throttle bodies, HVAC blend door motors and actuators, park assist sensors, keyless entry transmitters, headlight adjustment motors and level sensors, battery current sensors, variable valve timing components, HID xenon headlight ballasts, advanced TPMS service tools, DISA valve and numerous other repair kits and more. TechSmart^® products will continue to complement our basic SMP^® core business.
