SMP Wins 2014 NAPA Service Award

Standard Motor Products was recognized for outstanding service at this year's Genuine Parts Company and NAPA Vendor Summit.

The recognition came from NAPA, and extended to all SMP lines that ship to the automotive parts distributor. Requirements for the category included fill rate and a willingness to go above and beyond. NAPA also acknowledged it was impressed by the way SMP managed such a complex product line.

The annual GPC and NAPA Vendor Summit is a State of the Union-style address for the Napa Vendor community. All NAPA suppliers and members of GPC and NAPA's executive and management teams attend.

A theme in the speeches at this year’s summit was service. NAPA executives, in particular, stressed the importance of service moving forward.
