SMP’s Maxair Automotive designs and manufactures a variety of automotive HVAC components under the Maxair brand name. Specializing in oven-brazed aluminum products using the patented Nocolok method, the Maxair product line includes multi-flow condensers, plate fin evaporators, and serpentine evaporators for the OEM and aftermarket industry.
Maxair Automotive is ISO/TS 16949:2002 registered for the design and manufacture of accumulators, receiver driers, heater cores, hose assemblies, windshield washer pumps and window lift motors for the OE automotive industry. Additionally, Maxair maintains ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 registrations for all our manufactured products.
Although TS16949 compliance is a necessity for our OE business, Maxair operates with these base requirements in mind for all its market segments ensuring that processes are documented, measured, and followed. Maxair monitors the effectiveness of its quality system through extensive interactive plant metrics that give the Maxair Team access to all the latest information from its processes.
