Organizational Changes for SMP® Sales and Marketing

Standard Motor Products, Inc. announced strategic organizational changes within their sales and marketing group to better support SMP’s mission of delivering the very best customer support.

Speaking on the changes, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Dale Burks said, “The recent changes we’ve made within our sales and marketing group will better align our personnel to support strategic initiatives, drive joint revenue growth and better serve the needs of our customers”.

Bob Kimbro was named Vice President International Sales and is now responsible for sales growth outside North America This includes the development of unique market and language specific cataloging, product offerings, pricing and marketing materials.

Ken Wendlingwas named Vice President Warehouse Distribution Sales where he will take charge of our traditional WD sales effort with a particular focus on program group sales and support. Ken will also lead the WD sales administration group in Lewisville, Texas.

Phil Hutchens was named Vice President Engine Management Marketing assuming full responsibility for all engine and wire marketing, pricing, cataloging, product strategy and category management. Additionally, Phil will assume oversight for the SMP® training initiatives. SMP® trains more than 50,000 technicians annually.
