SMP Named 2013 Vendor of the Year by NAPA^® Under Hood Group

SMP recently received the 2013 NAPA^® Under Hood Group Supplier of the Year Award for its NAPA^® Echlin/Belden brands. Stephen Ponticelli, Director of Sales and Marketing NAPA Echlin, was on hand to receive this significant award.

The NAPA^® Under Hood Systems Selling Group annual awards banquet was held on January 25, 2014. During this event NAPA^® UHG commemorates the prior year sales accomplishments, recognizes their 2013 sales achievers, and awards one of their suppliers as Vendor of the Year signifying their ‘Best in Class’ support of the NAPA^® UHG sales effort. The NAPA^® Under Hood Group contributes more than $550 million in sales to the NAPA^® organization.

This award is based upon several criteria including sales growth, order fill performance, marketing support, promotional activity, product innovation, training and customer service. The competition included nineteen of the industry’s leading manufacturers including Bosch, Delphi, Federal Mogul, NGK, Denso and Cardone. SMP has won this prestigious award three out of the last four years.
